Elizabeth Dhlamini-Kumalo
Chairperson & Executive: Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB)

Elizabeth Dhlamini-Kumalo leads TDCI’s board and heads our DEIB portfolio. With over 40 years of experience, she is widely respected for her leadership in organisational development and human resources.She has held executive HR roles at major national and global organisations, including Afrox, Woolworths, Sandvik Mining & Construction, South African National Parks, SARS, and Nedcor. Her work spans strategy design, large-scale transformation, and the development of inclusive workplace cultures.

Elizabeth holds a Master’s degree in Management (Human Resources). She has played a key role in defining core business structures and implementing forward-thinking HR models. A former Chairperson of the SABPP, she currently chairs its HR Governance committee.

​

Affectionately known as MaDhlamini, she brings deep expertise, bold thinking, and a long-standing commitment to equity and accountability in the workplace.

Marius Pretorius

Dr Marius Pretorius
Managing Director | TDCI Training and Development

Dr Marius Pretorius is the Managing Director and a founding member of TDCI Training and Development. He brings more than 35 years of experience in individual, team, and organizational development.

​

A registered Industrial Psychologist, Marius holds a PhD in Consulting Psychology from UNISA. His work focuses on designing practical, evidence-based interventions tailored to each client’s context and goals. Marius works at the intersection of developmental psychology, resilience, and leadership agility. He helps clients build psychological strength and adaptability through a deep focus on personal and collective growth. His approach draws on principles of neuro-agility and neuroplasticity to drive sustainable change.

At the core of his work is a commitment to unlocking potential supporting individuals and teams to evolve, adapt, and lead with clarity in complex environments.

Collins Mathebula
Director, Business Development | TDCI Co-Owner

 

Collins Mathebula is TDCI’s Director of Business Development and a co-owner of the firm. He brings over 15 years of experience in training, development, and business growth, with a strong focus on using education to empower individuals and teams.

 

Collins began his career after earning a BA from UNISA. He joined Excellante International as a Sales Executive, where his results quickly led to promotions—first as a team leader, then as Sales Director. In that role, he led recruitment, training, and performance management for call center agents, driving both individual development and company targets.

To deepen his skills, Collins completed a Business Marketing Programme at UNISA. In 2007, he launched Masimu Marketing Solutions, a company focused on promoting training and development programmes.

 

In 2018, he brought his marketing and sales expertise to TDCI, where he helped expand the firm’s reach across South Africa and beyond. His work continues to center on building strong partnerships and delivering high-impact learning solutions for clients.

Cicilia Visser
Psychologist & Lead Facilitator

 

Cicilia brings over 13 years of experience in adult learning, training, and facilitation. She holds a Master’s degree in Psychology, with a distinction for her work on Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and best practice in adult learning.

​

As Lead Facilitator and Regional Manager for our Western Cape branch, Cicilia designs and delivers training programmes across sectors. Her work focuses on soft skills development, creativity, and team dynamics. She developed an EQ-based training programme specifically for enhancing leadership potential and team performance.

Cicilia leads Diversity Management training at several major mining and corporate sites in South Africa. She also facilitates workshops on Generational Diversity, helping teams build cross-generational understanding and collaboration based on generational theory.

She conducts large-scale behavioural assessments to identify emerging leaders and guide talent into development and mentorship programmes.

​

Previously, Cicilia coordinated the HR Master Class Series, bringing together experts, authors, and academics to share the latest thinking and tools in Human Resources.

Georgina

Dr Georgina Pondayi
Consultant – Talent Development & Quality Management Systems

 

Dr Georgina Pondayi is an experienced facilitator and consultant with a strong background in talent development, leadership training, and quality management systems. She holds a PhD from the University of Johannesburg and completed her postdoctoral research at Stellenbosch Business School, where she co-published work on women in the workplace with the USB Research Chair, Professor Anita Bosch.

Georgina partners with training academies and national bodies, including the South African National Accreditation System (SANAS), supporting organisations in accreditation, certification, and training strategy. She works closely with technical teams and leadership groups to strengthen quality systems and align development efforts with both regulatory and customer needs.

 

Her training and facilitation experience spans across Southern and East Africa, having delivered programmes in Zambia, Mozambique, South Africa, Malawi, Kenya, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Eswatini. She has led workshops in the mining sector focused on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB), and regularly speaks on leadership, gender-based violence, and women’s empowerment.

 

Georgina brings energy, insight, and practical experience to every engagement. Her work is rooted in clear communication, purpose-driven development, and a strong commitment to impact.
